Sundance Film Festival wanted to solve the problem of long waitlist lines at their film screenings. Lineups would begin hours in advance and were difficult to staff. This resulted in vehicle and crowd control problems running alongside urban streets. They wanted to move from an inefficient paper-based system to a mobile app which forced people to show up at theatres closer to the screening times.
We achieved a disruptive technology that allowed thousands of attendees to securely register, sign up for events and waitlist from the comfort of a home or cafe. Wait lines went from 3 or 4 hours to 30 minutes, and ticket sales for waitlists increased by 25%.
