In a former agency design role, I was tasked with digital promotional content for the sale of TELUS Garden, a $750 million mixed commercial/residential development project. Our team conceived of an ecosystem of products including a 30-second commercial, touchscreen kiosks, a 12-screen video wall, two websites, mobile and tablet apps. My job was to create all the interfaces that surrounded customers as they walked into a digital-physical sales centre in the heart of downtown Vancouver.
Combining content from two film shoots with custom 3D visualizations, I designed a cohesive and on-brand suite of interactive products so customers could learn all about Telus Garden online and in the showroom. I conceived of and developed all kiosk user interfaces and TV touchscreens in Flash/Actionscript. I also designed and implemented the native iOS apps and HTML/CSS webpages. The sales centre was so successful, Telus Garden sold out before the official public release.
